Edwin is, and always has been, at the forefront of denim innovation as the creators of stonewashing, Founded in Japan in 1947, Edwin first imported denim fabric from America and brought high quality denim jeans to the Japanese market. The traditional looms that make selvage denim were then bought to Japan which is now one of the few places in the world to still produce it. 70 years on, Edwin continue innovating within the denim world, still manufacturing most of their jeans in Japan, including producing the iconic rainbow selvage, red listed selvage and unique new fits alongside a stylish seasonal apparel collection.
