Patta is an internationally renowned streetwear brand founded in Amsterdam in 2004 by Edson Sabajo & "Gee" Schmidt. Named after the Surinamese slang word for "shoe," the brand is a tribute to the founders' heritage and shared passion for hip-hop and sneaker culture. Starting as a store for rare sneakers, Patta evolved into a global brand celebrated for its authentic roots and strong community focus.

Guided by the motto "Out of love and necessity rather than profit and novelty," Patta builds cultural bridges through collaborations and encourages community growth through initiatives like the Patta Academy and its "Each One Teach One" philosophy.
